Quality Prediction

The first step deals with the prediction of quality from one station and measurement to every other position. This is done by a prediction function that describes the quality to be expected depending on the distance from a given station. The application provides you with four choices of prediction: constant, linear, square and exponential. The function are shown in the graph below, each adjusted to fit a measuring point with a Quality of $60\%$ in a distance of 2 meters.

The prediction function can be set both in the properties window and the menu. The recommended setting is exponential.
